#1535 America Star Garland
Wow, a fun piece!! Show your patriotism this summer or all year round with this wonderful hand-made star garland with hand-stitched "America". I have pieced together various deep red, navy, tan and off-white fabrics to create each star, using a pattern from Brenda Gervais. I have then handstitched each letter using a deep red color of embroidery floss. Strung them together and added a bit of German glass glitter for just a bit of sparkle!! The individual stars measure about 4"across and 4-1/2" tall. The total garland measures about 28", not including small embroidery floss loops on the ends for hanging.

#1496 Americana Flower Pot
I knew the minute I started this project, I was going to fall in love with it!! I love the darling pot of flowers all cross-stitched including the flag. The colors are my favorite, along with the theme!! Reds, golds, golden brown, a bit of navy.....Americana!! This pillow is hand stitched on osnaburg and heavily stained (darker than shows in picture), then I hand stitched it onto a very cool Moda fabric. It is a bit heavier and has a great gold running through it, it is almost dimensional, hard to explain, but awesome looking fabric. It too has been stained. It measures about 12" x 12-1/2". Looks great on your wicker! A VERY fun Summer Pillow, or all year 'round!!
